In Pursuit of a Dream

Born into a poor family, COCO Bertin lost his sight at the age of fifteen, following his older sister. The double burden of his modest social background and blindness, far from being a fate that reduced him to defeatism, only intensified his desire to succeed. In a sober and poignant language, he recounts the painful experience of his blindness, his struggles fueled by a powerful dream, and the triumphant victories of his personal life and those of the blind community in Cameroon, of which he is an emblematic figure as co-founder of CJARC (Club of Rehabilitated Young Blind People of Cameroon).
